Good morning and Happy New Year, Oklahoma! As we dive into 2025, a year sure to be blessed with abundance (for some of us, anyway), I want to address something that keeps popping up in the lamestream liberal media: Yes, the Heritage Foundation funds me. And guess what? That’s exactly what God intended.
A Holy Partnership
The Heritage Foundation and I share one critical value: the belief that God’s plan includes a very specific budget line item for my work. Some folks claim it’s unethical for an elected official to receive so much support from a think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. To them, I say: have you ever read the Bible? God provides for His chosen leaders, whether it’s manna in the desert or PAC donations wired straight to a campaign account.
Why Being Bought and Paid For Is the Lord’s Work
Critics like to paint me as some kind of puppet for the Heritage Foundation. But they’re missing the big picture. I’m not a puppet; I’m a vessel. God needs His warriors well-funded if we’re going to fight back against woke math, rainbow-colored crayons, and pronouns that confuse our kids. And who better to bankroll this crusade than the good folks at Heritage?
Here’s why their support is a divine blessing:
- They Help Me Keep the Focus on What Matters Most
The Heritage Foundation knows the real issues in education: too much diversity, not enough prayer, and a suspicious lack of Israel flags in public school classrooms. They ensure my agenda remains laser-focused on God’s priorities and not trivial matters like literacy rates or overcrowded classrooms. - Their Donations Are a Sign of Faith
Every check I cash is a message from God, delivered via Heritage. “Keep going, Ryan,” He whispers through their wire transfers. “You’re doing My work. Buy another Chick-fil-A combo on Me.” - It’s Biblical to Have Sponsors
Let’s not forget, Jesus Himself had benefactors. Mary Magdalene and others supported His ministry financially, so why shouldn’t I accept support from modern-day disciples like the Heritage Foundation?
What About the Critics?
I know what some of you are thinking: “Ryan, how can you claim to serve Oklahoma’s children while being so deeply in the pocket of a D.C. think tank?” To that, I say: have you ever seen a shepherd without a staff? Heritage is my staff. They guide me, they support me, and sometimes, yes, they give me the exact words to say in front of the cameras. But it’s all part of God’s plan.
A Vision for 2025
With Heritage’s continued support, I pledge to make 2025 a banner year for Oklahoma education:
- More funding for Bible-based STEM initiatives like “How Noah Engineered the Ark.”
- A complete ban on books that dare to challenge the Biblical creation story.
- A Heritage-approved curriculum on why capitalism is the only truly Godly economic system.
In Closing: God’s Will Be Done
The Lord works in mysterious ways. Sometimes it’s through a burning bush, and sometimes it’s through a well-funded conservative think tank. Either way, His message is clear: Ryan Walters is His chosen warrior for Oklahoma’s schools. And if He chooses to bless my work through Heritage’s generous donations, who am I to argue?
Let’s make 2025 the year we put God back in every classroom — and make sure the kids know exactly who funded it.
God bless,
Ryan Walters
